Sandy is a Managing Partner of C.J. Segerstrom & Sons, owner of the retail center South Coast Plaza. She credits her parents, Jeanette and Hal Segerstrom, for instilling the spirit of giving within her which attests to her generous gifts of time and money to an array of children's organizations.

Sandy has been a hands-on volunteer for a variety of organizations throughout the years which ultimately led her to create the month-long Festival of Children® in 2002.

Following the inaugural Festival of Children®, Sandy formed Festival of Children Foundation which has grown into a national organization that improves the lives of children by fostering collaboration with a network of charities, businesses and individuals.

In addition to overseeing Festival of Children Foundation, Sandy serves as a board member of the Orange County Performing Arts Center and as vice-chair of support groups. She is on the CHOC Foundation board and has co-chaired the “CHOC Follies” for nine years to raise funds for Children’s Hospital Orange County. Additionally, Sandy is vice-chair, arts and entertainment council, for the Orange County High School of Arts Foundation Board of Directors.

Sandy is married to John Daniels and together the couple has ___ grown children.
