Caring and Committment in Action

On a national level, Assistance League volunteers have achieved remarkable results in improving the lives of those in need through innovative and targeted philanthropic programs.

Over $38.8 million was returned to local communities; 1.5 million people were assisted; nearly 26,000 member volunteers in 120 chapters contributed 3.2 million service hours; Operation School Bell assisted 330,915 children last year and 4.3 million since 1958.

The chapters of Assistance League continue to conduct extensive community needs assessments, develop programs according to those needs, generate funding and staff each program.
