Kristina Dodge

KRISTINA is co-founder of American Sterling Productions, Ltd., a motion picture production company, and the producer of The Annihilation of Fish, a critically acclaimed film starring Lynn Redgrave, James Earl Jones and Margot Kidder that received numerous international film festival awards. ASP’s recent production, Dark Matter starring Liu Ye and Meryl Streep, won the Alfred P. Sloan Prize in the 2007 Sundance Film Festival. American Sterling Productions was proud to partner with the Chapman University School of Film and Television in establishing “The Next Generation of Filmmakers,” a program to develop high quality, short and feature-length student scripts and films. Kristina’s involvement in the film school has led to a new passion—getting in front of the camera co-hosting with Chapman President James Doti on the Orange County, California, public television program, “Dialogue with Doti” on KOCE-TV.


Kristina is currently on the Board of Trustees at Chapman and in addition to supporting Chapman, Kristina was appointed by the Governor to the Orange County Fair & Event Center Board in 2006 and is currently the Vice Chair. She also is a board member of St. Margaret’s Episcopal School in San Juan Capistrano, CA. Previously she dedicated 10 years to the Hearst Castle Preservation Foundation as the Director. She also maintains strong connections to various organizations in California and the Midwest: University of California at Irvine; the Boys & Girls Club of San Juan Capistrano; Redlands Public School District, CA; the Kansas City Art Institute in Kansas City, MO; the Rainbow Center for children and adults with disabilities of Blue Springs, MO; the Sunshine Center for medically fragile children of Independence, MO; and Hope House for abused women and their children, of Kansas City, MO.


Besides supporting many worthy causes, Kristina focuses much of her time on her daughter and her family. She also is an education and adventure enthusiast and holds a private pilot’s license, is scuba certified and is an avid snow and water skier. The Dodges reside in Monarch Beach, California. Kristina holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
